Your people. Your dates. Your week.
Our organised trips are weeks we build and then open to whoever wants a spot. This is the other way round: you bring the people, and we build the week around them. Same crags, same guiding — just yours from the start.

Groups who’d rather not be put with strangers.
Four of you who climb together at home and want a week on real rock, without being split across a mixed group with different goals.
Mixed ages, mixed appetites, and someone who’d rather walk than climb on day three. A custom week can absorb that; a fixed departure can’t.
A dozen people, one venue, and a plan that keeps everyone climbing at their own level. Bigger groups need a second guide, which we arrange.
How it works
- 01
1. Tell us the shape of it
Who’s coming, roughly when, and what you want out of the week — a grade, a summit, a first multi-pitch, or just good days out together. If you don’t know yet, say that; it’s a normal starting point.
- 02
2. We come back with a plan
A venue, a house, a day-by-day shape and a price — all of it written down, so you can take it to the group before anyone commits to anything.
- 03
3. You change it
Almost everyone does, and that’s the point of a custom week. We’ll go round until the plan is the one your group actually wants.
- 04
4. A deposit holds it
The same terms as the fixed departures: a deposit holds the dates, the balance is due when you arrive, and cancelling more than 30 days out returns the deposit in full.
The more notice the better — houses and dates in spring and autumn go early. But if you’re thinking about next week, ask anyway: sometimes it works.
The usual questions
There is genuinely no honest number to put on this page — a custom trip is priced from what you actually want, and two groups of the same size can want very different weeks. What we can promise is the order it happens in: you tell us the shape of it, we come back with a written price, and nobody commits to anything before that.
There isn’t one. Two of you is a custom trip; so is twelve. What changes with the number is the shape of the week and the price per person, not whether we’ll run it — and if a private course or a run of guided days would serve you better than a whole week, we’ll say so rather than sell you the bigger thing.
No — and this is one of the real advantages of going custom. Walkers, non-climbers and people who want a rest day are all straightforward to plan around when the week is built for one group. Carmen is a qualified hiking guide, finishing her mountain leader qualification, so a walking day is a proper day out rather than a consolation.
Yes. A week that mixes sport crags, a multi-pitch day and a via ferrata is one of the most common custom requests, and it’s much easier to build for a group that already knows each other.
Very few groups are. The plan is built around the spread rather than the average — that usually means venues where a 5 and a 7a climber can share a sector, and a second guide on the days where splitting up serves everyone better.
